We need your support to help with our current projects.
The main activity for our reef restoration program is to help with the construction of our artificial reef. Most days we work alongside local fishermen, working together to create many diverse and creative reef structures optimized to be a perfect substrate for coral and a habitat for fish.
As a program we try to encourage this by organising weekly beach cleans with the students from the school, collecting waste plastic from the beach and bringing it to our recycling centre.
Everyone with at least a PADI Open Water Diver certification are welcome to join us diving as part of our program. We aim to dive every week and as long as we make enough structures we can deploy them at the end of the week. This involves moving and positioning structures underwater to make sure they are in an optimum formation for fish and coral. For us, any dive can be a clean up dive and divers are encouraged to join us in collecting any kind of marine litter they find and bringing it out with them. For those wanting to learn to dive or advance their skills we offer PADI certifications at an extra cost.
