Mt Agung latest news update

We at North Bali Reef Conservation understand the concern around Mt Agung in the past few weeks and endeavor to keep all prospective and current volunteers informed. At the time of writing conservation work is ongoing and help from volunteers is still welcomed.

Tianyar is roughly 20km from Mt Agung and is outside the level IV danger zone of 12km.

Prospective volunteers need not worry about any disturbance whilst undertaking their volunteer programme here in Tianyar but nevertheless should keep up to date in case the situation changes. Please be wary of some news outlets exaggerating the status of the volcano.
